Van Gogh Hoodie
Van Gogh Hoodie
Details
Our Van Gogh Hoodie is where art meets effortless style. Made of cotton French Terry, it’s solid Charcoal on the outside with a striped combo on the inside. Why Van Gogh? Find his painting of Paul - Eugene Milliet on the sleeve, complete with embroidered abstract chevron stripes while simple chain stitching along the shoulder seam is a finishing touch. We didn't forget about our signature five x’s - find them on the hood.
Van Gogh’s portrait of Paul-Eugene Milliet, C. 1888, was first created on a Warner Woven Label in 1974. Want to see the Original Painting? It hangs in Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo, Netherlands.

MATERIALS MATTER
Cotton French Terry
The French are everywhere... Our sweatshirts are made from 100% cotton French terry. The raw materials come from outside the USA but the fabric is woven and the pieces are constructed in Los Angeles. The end result is a beautifully soft loop texture on the inside.
French Laundry Labels
It’s all in the details and we love ours! We can’t get enough of the French laundry labels from the 40’s so we put them on our hoodie too. Can you guess what the labels were used for? You got it - identifying your laundry by your initials or a specific number. We repurposed these long-forgotten laundry tapes in our hoodie, giving each one a unique number and a link to the past. The colors are so very French and the original boxes they were packaged in are just as special.
Woven Labels
If some of our patches are reminiscent of paintings you’ve seen before, you definitely paid attention during that art history class. Our woven labels are reproductions of a reproduction - repro squared, we guess. The original vintage silk woven labels from Warner Woven Labels date from the 50’s through the 70’s. Depicting famous paintings, each one adorned a calendar, which were given to loyal customers as a thank you. We make clothes and not calendars, so consider this our take.
